Black German Shepherd Dog
The black german shepherd dog is not commonly found in the rescues, neither are the puppies.
There are masks on the heads of bi-colored animals. For a long period of time, representatives of this breed with white coat were disqualified and culled from the breeding program, but nowadays they are thought to be a separate type inside the breed. Thus, these animals can also participate in the shows for purebreds as well as the animals of the ordinary colors.

Black German Shepherd Dog -
rescues, puppies
Coat color is not the priority in this breed; working abilities and temperament are far more important. The coat of this breed should be double and weather-proof, allowing these animals to withstand harsh climate. The outer coat is very dense, harsh and straight. Slight waving in outer coat is permissible. The neck should be covered with longer and thicker coat; hair on the head, legs and paws is short. Many coat colors are accepted in this breed, but rich colors are preferred. Pale colors, blue and liver coats are faults. Animals with such coat colors are of pet quality and cannot compete in conformation. Solid colors and bi-colors are the common patterns in this breed. The black german shepherd dog is not commonly found in the rescues, neither are the puppies.
