The bay area german shepherd rescue club is a rescue supported by the local kennels.
Before giving the dog to this or that family, volunteers carefully screen the perspective owners to insure that they can provide a safe and loving home for a large dog. Each dog should become a cherished member of its new family. The main desire of each organization is to provide each dog with a home that will be a permanent one. Many dogs that have been lost, or left are traumatized. That’s why adopters are asked to sign a contract, which states that, if the dog is relinquished for any reason it will be returned back but not left in the street again.
